He carried out production and operation activities of the Institute (UTAEM) for eight years. He worked as an assistant researcher in national projects on tillage methods and EU project (H2020-FATIMA) as well. Expert on measuring the greenhouse gases emissions and has profession on related devices
ZÜBEYDE ALBAYRAM DOĞAN
Gediz pilot leader
Deputy Director at UTAEM. PhD in agricultural organizations based on cooperatives. Carries out research projects on agricultural economics and policies. Works as an assistant researcher in national projects on soil and water researches to evaluate economic situation analysis. Carried out farmer meetings and conducted surveys with them as well as evaluated economic farm situation analysis during EU project (H2020-FATIMA) as a assistant researcher
SINAN ARAS

Technical Coordinator at UTAEM. PhD student in Ege University Agriculture Faculty, Department of Farm Structures and Irrigation Science. He is interested in remote sensing technologies so he had been in Washington State University in the USA for three months as a visiting researcher on a basic training about determination evapotranspiration by remote sensing techniques. He participated in several national projects which are related irrigation water management
GÜLAY YILMAZ

Researcher in the International Agricultural Research and Training Center and Head of Department of Climate Change and Agricultural Ecology. Ph.D. in soil and water conservation, She is an experienced researcher on erosion and sedimentation, conservation planning. She has been carrying out various projects on soil and wind erosion, monitoring suspended sediment transport, small watershed hydrology, causes and evolution of sand dune activity, and environmental assessment for more than 25 years. Her recent researches include land degradation, soil moisture content, water harvesting and climate change

SENER ÖZÇELİK

Researcher at the Department of Agricultural Irrigation and Land Reclamation at UTAEM and PhD student at Ege University. His main study subjects are on irrigation management and modelling, monitoring evapotranspirasyon and drought. He has coordinated national projects and worked as a assistant researcher at EU project (H2020-FATIMA). National projects on crop modelling for irrigation management, monitoring ET, irrigation performance, drought analysis using SPEI index. EU Project based on crop management with remote sensing and WebGIS platform
NURI CANDAN

Agricultural Engineer MSc, focusing on soil and plant nutrition and has been working on national and international projects of the Institution for 12 years and he has 29 years of professional background within the Ministry of Agriculture and took part in the “Tools for Water and Fertilizer Management in Agriculture (FATIMA)” project funded by EU

Researcher in the International Agricultural Research and Training Center in Climate Change and Agricultural Ecology Department. Ph.D. in drought monitoring and evaluation. She carries out research projects on soil moisture in order to monitor and evaluate drought and especially to determine agricultural drought. She worked as an assistant researcher in many national projects over 10 years. She has profession about soil moisture sensor measurements, precipitation, flow measurements and watershed parametric models. She also worked as an researcher in the H2020-FATIMA project

His research topics climate trend analysis and climate-agriculture interaction. Currently working on climate change resilience project and also being part of department’s projects
