DAVIDE PETTENELLA

UNIPD scientific supervisor

Full professor of Forest Policy and Economics at the University of Padova. His research activities focus on economics, marketing and governance of natural resource management, with an emphasis on forest resources. He has been working in more than fifteen research projects co-funded by the EC and has cooperated with other international research institutions, like CIFOR, FAO, the JRC, and the World Bank, for research programs in the field of forest policy and economics. He has published more than 500 papers and is a member of the Editorial Boards of several scientific journals

MAURO MASIERO

UNIPD team leader

Assistant professor of Forest Policy and Economics at the University of Padova. He worked for about 10 years as a consultant in the forestry sector. He holds a PhD in Forestry economics and his main fields of research include the analysis of markets for forest-based products and services, and socio-economic aspects dealing with the management of natural resources. He has participated to several projects involving national and international organizations (e.g., EC, CIFOR, FAO, World Bank) in more than 10 different countries worldwide

GIORGIA BOTTARO

Researcher on socio-economic and policy issues

Junior researcher in Forest Policy and Economics at the University of Padova, where she is finalizing a PhD on “Innovation in Forest Ecosystem Services provision and enhancement in Europe by investigating economic, social, and policy approaches” at the Land, Environment, Resources and Health (LERH) PhD program. Her research activities are mainly focused on the analysis of mechanisms and organizational models to support responsible management of natural resources, the delivery of ecosystem services and promote local development opportunities


GIORGIA BOTTARO

Researcher on socio-economic and policy issues
